The plan envisages to make India as as one of the major IT manufacturing hubs and also to ensure India to retains its edge in software development. It is projected that ITeS will grow almost 250% during 2014 and to about US$ 400 billion by 2020.

To exploit its demographic dividend, India must generate jobs to satisfy nearly 250 million additional income seekers that are expected to join the workforce in the next 15 years .
